Privacy Policy

Punch Love Lifestyle, including She Fell Open, is operated by Liz Punch, a sole proprietor based in West Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada. This policy explains what personal information I collect, why, how I protect it, and the choices you have. When I say "I" or "me," I mean Liz Punch and Punch Love Lifestyle.

I handle personal information in line with British Columbia's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and, where it applies, Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). I send marketing emails only with your consent, as required by Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL).

What I collect

When you take the Five Pillars Quiz: your first name, your email address, your answers to the 15 questions, your score for each pillar, and your lowest-scoring pillar. Your answers reflect personal aspects of your wellbeing, so I treat them with particular care.

When you contact me or book a conversation: your name, email address, phone number if you give it, and anything you choose to share in your message.

When you buy a program or product: your name, email, billing details and order history. Payments are processed securely by Squarespace and its payment partners Stripe & Squarespace Payments. I never see or store your full card number.

When you work with me as a coaching client: the information you share in intake forms, assessments and sessions, and my session notes.

When you visit my website: basic technical information such as your browser type, device and the pages you visit, collected through Squarespace's cookies and analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings and the cookie banner on this site.

Why I collect it

  • To send you your quiz results and a short series of emails related to the pillar calling you most

  • To send occasional emails about my programs, events and writing, only if you have agreed to receive them

  • To reply to your messages and schedule conversations

  • To deliver the programs and coaching you purchase

  • To process payments and keep required business records

  • To understand how my website is used so I can improve it

I only use your information for the purpose you shared it for, or a closely related purpose you would reasonably expect.

What I never do

I never sell, rent or trade your personal information. I do not share your quiz answers or coaching information with anyone except the service providers listed below, who store it on my behalf.

Who helps me run this business

I use trusted service providers to operate my website and services. They may store or process your information on my behalf:

  • Squarespace: website hosting, online store, payments, scheduling and site analytics

  • Netlify: hosting for the Five Pillars Quiz and storage of quiz submissions

  • Microsoft & Gmail: sending emails you have signed up for

  • Squarespace & Stripe: processing payments

  • Substack: if you subscribe to North of Soft stories

Some of these providers store information on servers outside Canada, including in the United States. When your information is stored outside Canada, it may be subject to the laws of that country, including lawful access by its authorities.

How I protect your information

I use reputable providers with strong security, keep access to your information limited to me, and protect my accounts with secure passwords and two-factor authentication. Coaching notes are kept confidential and are not shared without your consent, except where the law requires it or where there is a serious risk of harm to you or someone else.

How long I keep it

  • Quiz results and email subscriptions: until you unsubscribe or ask me to delete them

  • Coaching records: for 2 years after our work together ends, then securely deleted

  • Purchase records: as long as required for tax and accounting purposes

Your choices and rights

  • Unsubscribe any time using the link at the bottom of any email I send, or by emailing me.

  • Ask to see the personal information I hold about you.

  • Ask me to correct anything that is inaccurate.

  • Withdraw your consent or ask me to delete your information, subject to any records I am legally required to keep.

The Five Pillars Quiz is a reflection tool, not a diagnosis. She Fell Open provides psychology-informed wellbeing support, not psychotherapy or clinical mental health treatment. Children

My website and services are intended for adults. I do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

I may update this policy as my business grows. The effective date at the top shows when it was last changed. If I make a significant change, I will let subscribers know by email.
